The Development and Achievements of Shenzhen Zhongke Guangxin

Shenzhen Zhongke Guangxin Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2020, is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to high-end semiconductor laser photonic chips (including VCSEL, optical communications, optical sensing, and photonic integration) and high-end optoelectronic modules (for optical communications). The company integrates product R&D, design, production, sales, and service, fully empowering fields such as artificial intelligence, computing centers, data-center optical interconnects, automotive autonomous driving, low-altitude economy, consumer electronics, and industrial applications, offering customers world-leading optically-carried information solutions. The founding team comprises former Huawei experts and Dr. Zheng from Tsinghua University’s Department of Electronic Engineering, together with elite photonic-chip specialists from China and abroad. Dr. Zheng also serves as Director of the Photonic Chip R&D Center at the Shenzhen Tsinghua University Research Institute and as an industry professor at Shenzhen University and Southern University of Science and Technology. The company has built a “Sense-Communicate-Compute” optically-carried information product matrix that includes optical-communication VCSEL chips (10G/25G/50G/100G/200G chips and 400G/800G/1.6T/3.2T modules), high-power-density LiDAR VCSEL chips, high-efficiency 3D-sensing VCSEL chips, and novel optoelectronic modules. Its high-end VCSEL chips have already entered volume production, with performance parameters certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as domestic-leading. The company owns more than 60 core patents and has been honored as a National Excellent Enterprise, ranked among the top ten in the China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition, won third prize in the national finals of the “China Chuangyi” contest (1st place in Guangdong Province), captured first prize in the electronic-information division of the Western Returned Scholars Association national finals, and claimed third prize in Tsinghua University’s Guoqiang Cup Global AI Challenge.
